When you start applying make-up, do make sure that all your facial features receive significant attention. For summer, a face should be defined, radiant, glowing and sun kissed with a hint of shimmer. Bold glamorous eye definition and styling, above and below the lashes, in any palette is a must-do. Keep the lips defined, full and notable to create a look that is super-stylish and glamorous.
A thumb rule for summer makeup is to keep it light allowing the skin to breathe and the natural beauty to shine through. Prepping is very essential as a well-cleansed, toned and moisturized skin is very important for flawless long-lasting makeup.
On a work day: Use a light-tinted moisturizing SPF to hydrate the skin and protect it from the sun’s rays. This will also give you an even skin tone. Try to wear powder-based eye shadows and blushers. Apply liner and mascara which has long-staying properties.
Evening high tea: Add bright and soft colours for eyes, illuminating highlighter on the cheeks and long-staying nude lip colors with a dash of gloss.
Dinner party look: A 3D holographic shimmering eye shadow can be worn with fake eyelashes. A glossy skin with bright matte lips is what you should try to achieve.
