This season the rock ’n’ roll era is making a comeback, in an ultra feminine bouffant style. This is a simple way to add instant vintage glamour to your look. We simply loved the almost snail-shaped quiff that Sonam Kapoor sported at a recent event. If somebody can pull off a couture look with élan, it is this young, vivacious actor. The updo created with height on the crown and soft waves at the lengths, complemented her Ralph & Russo outfit and bow tie perfectly. The makeup was subtle with soft smoky eyes and pink lips.
IF YOU LOVE THIS LOOK AS MUCH AS WE DO, TAKE NOTES
1. Use a shine-enhancing shampoo and conditioner and comb out your hair so that it is tangle-free.
2. Take a horse shoe-shaped section at the crown to create the quiff.
3. Backcomb the hair near the forehead and use volumising spray on the top.
4. Create a side parting and twist the front section of the hair and pin it with bobby pins such that the end of this section seamlessly blends in with the lengths.
5. Now use a little hair protection serum on the lengths before you tong it.
6. Finish with a shine spray of medium hold to allow movement in the hair.
7. Take your hair over one shoulder to emphasise the smooth cascading effect from the crown to the tips.
