1. Moisturiser

Let’s start the process by giving our skin the hydration that it needs. As everyone believes,  hydrated skin is a happy skin. Any moisturiser which suits best with your skin type will work. Moisturiser is one of the important steps as it helps in protecting the skin from the products that we are about to apply and the one with SPF will always be more beneficial in protecting your skin from the harmful UV Rays.

2. Face Serum

Now apply a face serum on your entire face along with the neck. There is a wide variety of face serums available in the market these days depending upon your skin type. The serum helps in making your skin smooth for a better application of foundation and to make it last longer. You can also use it by mixing it up with the foundation for a glowy finish.

3. Primer

Next step is to apply a Primer. Use just a pea-sized amount on your nose and cheeks wherever the pores are visible. It creates a beautiful canvas for your makeup as it preps your skin and blurs the imperfections.

4.
Orange Color Corrector

Orange color corrector is applied to cover the dark circles and the blemishes present on your face. Dab a little orange corrector under your eyes, sides of the nose and on the blemishes. Blend it either with your fingers or with a beauty blender. Orange color evens out your skin making your dark spots less visible.

 5. Foundation

After prepping up your skin, dab your favourite foundation across the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. Blend it with a beauty blender for a smooth finish and build a coverage as desired. You can choose your foundation according to your skin type and color. Liquid foundations are generally preferred for a dry skin and cream based for oily skin types. You can always mix your face serums or moisturizer with foundation for a smooth and easy application.

 6. Concealer

Apply a concealer two shades lighter than your skin tone under your eyes, over the blemishes and below your cheeks. And then gently blend it with a concealer brush or fingers. A lighter shade of concealer is used to brighten up your face. Set it up with a setting powder.

7. Bronzer

Contour your hairline, bridge of the nose and on the high points of your cheeks to create an illusion of a slimmer face with a bronzer. Use a contour brush for that deep blend to make it look like a shadow on your face.

8. Highlighter + Blush

Dab the highlighter on your cheek bones, bridge of your nose, cupid’s bow for an instant glow and blend it using either your fingertips or makeup sponge. And now sweep some blush onto the apple of your cheeks from the cheekbones to temples to attain those natural looking pink cheeks.

9. Eyeshadow

There are various ways to pop up your eyes but when it comes to a nude look, light shades are always used as a base. A darker shade is used to contour your eyes and to create shape whereas the colors in between are used to blend all three in. Add the shimmer shades to the inner corner of your eyes to make them look big and bright.

10. Eyeliner + Kajal

As much as we all love winged eyeliner, it definitely is difficult to get it winged perfectly. Apply a black eyeliner till the end of your eye and then make a line in a 30 degree angle for that perfect winged eyes. Now apply a kohl kajal on your waterline to make your eyes pop.

 11. Lip liner + Lipstick

Choose a lip liner that compliments your lipstick and start with the centre of your lip, defining your cupid’s bow with an X shape and lining the centre-bottom of your lips. And then apply your favourite lipstick on your lips to complete the entire look.

12. Setting Spray

After all the above steps, seal in your magic makeup look with a setting spray. Setting spray acts as an invisible shield to help flawlessly set makeup all day without melting, fading or settling into lines.

Voila! You’re ready to glam the night.
