TV anchor Ambika Anand is known for her impeccable sense of style. The television personality balances comfort with glamour when it comes to making wardrobe choices.

Ambika Anand is one of television’s best-dressed personalities. We discovered that she is just as stylish at home. When we visit, she is dressed in a delicious pink jumpsuit from Bungalow 8 in Mumbai, a pair of jooties from Good Earth and a funky leather neckpiece from En Inde in Delhi’s Meharchand Market. Ambika looks chic enough to receive guests and casual enough to curl up on her couch with a book.

“The jumpsuit is really comfortable and looks very cool and Arabic. It’s loose but stylish at the same time. I could even wear it for a shoot because, in television, they like bright colours.”

Being as busy as she is at NDTV Good Times, Ambika often has to fit in work meetings at lunch. Today she is all set for one in an asymmetrical dress by Smita Marwa and Asmita Marwa and sandals from Carma.

"I bought this lovely dress from Ensemble. I love the shape because it hides all the flaws and is also extremely comfortable. This is the perfect outfit for a work meeting leading to a lunch date because it's the perfect mix of casual and formal,"  says Ambika adding "I love the way the dress drapes around the body, the colour, the edgy details like the safety pins on the front."

As far as accesoories go, Ambika prefers a a statement neckpiece, "For my day look I choose from my many neckpieces. They are usually transparent, beig white or black, and so can be worn in the day or at night."

For her on-air avatar, Ambika sticks to structured clothes “When I am at work, I don't want to keep checking on my outfit and fiddling with it. "I have a variety of jackets from different brands that fit the purpose," says Ambika flaunting her black jeggings from Italian brand Calzedonia that she picked up in Turkey, a black shirt from Good and Beautiful; Laylard  jacket from Bodice, stilettos from Christian Louboutin and a funky neckpiece from Accesoorize.

"I don't feel any pressure to look a certain way. When I shop I pick up outfits and accessories that can be worn in different ways and have longevity and versatality."
