Kangana Ranaut at MAMI opening night
The Jio MAMI 17th Mumbai Film Festival with Star India started with a star-studded opening, on Thursday night. October 29th, at the iconic Gateway of India. Filmmakers and celebrities, along with the who’s who of B-town attended the event in their red carpet best and quite frankly, we wouldn’t have expected any less. Honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, was also present as a special guest for the evening, rendering his support to the festival.
Red carpet attendees were Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Anil Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, Dia Mirza, Aditi Hayadri, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, A.R.Rahman, Diana Penty, Anupam and Kirron Kher, Anurag Kashyap, Vikamaditya Motwane, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, along with Anupama Chopra, the festival director and Kiran Rao, the chairperson. Kalki Koechlin opened the event by introducing festival co–chair, Mrs. Neeta Mukesh Ambani, board members and prestigious jury.
