1. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
They met on the sets of Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke and Kuch Naa Kaho as just friends. In fact, they were in separate relationships at the time, which didn’t materialise as one would want. It was much later when they were shooting for Kajra Re, a song sequence in Bunty Aur Bubli, that sparks flew. Eventually they worked together in Umrao Jaan, Guru and Dhoom 2 and as they spend a lot of time together, grew closer. Finally, this power couple tied the knot in 2007.


2. Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh
Ritiesh and Genelia first met for the test shoot of their Bollywood debut, Tujhe Meri Kasam. As the stories go, initially Genelia gave him a cold shoulder, assuming he is a spoilt brat. But, as she spent time with him, she found Riteish to be totally opposite of what she had thought. The two fell in love and have been in a relationship since then, until they tied the knot on February 3, 2012.


3. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan
In 2007, Kareena Kapoor’s relationship with long time boyfriend Shahid Kapoor was almost over. At the same time, she started shooting for Tashan with Saif Ali Khan. Sparks flew between the two on the sets and they entered into a relationship. They dated for around five years, and finally had a simple registered marriage in October 2012.


4. Kunal Khemu and Soha Ali Khan
Kunal and Soha worked together in Dhoondhte Reh Jaoge and 99, in 2009. Initially, they believed that they were quite different and could not even be friends. But, as they spent time with each other, their opinions changed, and the two were drawn to each other in no time. After living in together for sometime, the couple tied the knot just this year.


5. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna
Akshay and Twinkle worked together in two films—International Khiladi and Zulmi. Neither of the films create any magic on the box office, but it did bring the two of them close. Akshay, who was known for his erstwhile playboy nature, finally decided to settle down with lady love Twinkle, and the two tied the knot in 2001.


6. Ajay Devgn and Kajol
Though the SRK-Kajol jodi a bigger hit on screen, in real life, its Kajol and Ajay who have an unparalleled chemistry. They met on the sets of Hulchul in 1995, and dated for almost four years until they got married in 1999. Though there were rumours of a few roadblocks in their married life, the couple is still going strong, thereby proving all gossip mongers wrong.


7. Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji
Though there was a time when Rani was called a home wrecker, in reality, the couple started dating only after Aditya’s divorce. Rani confirms that she started seeing him at a point when they were not working together, “as dating your producer was not my cup of tea.” Eventually the couple silenced everyone and tied the knot, very discreetly so, last year. 


8. Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao
Kiran Rao first met Aamir Khan during a recce on a bus to Bhuj when the actor came and introduced himself. Her first impression of Khan was that he was quite normal, Rao had told the Calcutta Times in a candid interview. They again connected on the set of an ad commercial that Aamir was doing with Ashutosh Gowariker that Kiran was assisting on. Soon they grew quite close and the rest is history.


9. Farah Khan and Shirish Kunder
Farah and Shirish met on the sets of Main Hoon Naa, where Shirish worked as the editor. Though Farah is eight years older to Shirish, they instantly hit it off and make a loely couple. The love birds eventually tied the knot and are now the proud parents of their triplets—one boy and two girls.


10. Udita Goswami and Mohit Suri
Udita Goswami and Mohit Suri fell in love in 2005, during the filming of Mohit Suri's directorial debut film, Zeher, and the storyteller found his muse. They’ve been together ever since and were married on Tuesday, 29 January, 2013.
