Is Salman really engaged?

 

Just as the promotions of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was picking up pace, Salman Khan’s intriguing love life is in the news again. Apparently, Iulia Vantur’s spokesperson, back in Romania, confirmed that she is engaged to the Bollywood superstar, which was immediately picked up by the Indian media. A leading Indian website reported that Iulia’s PR has confirmed that the duo is engaged and will get married sometime next year in 2016.

Salman reportedly introduced Iulia, who is a television presenter back home, to his family during sister Arpita Khan’s wedding last year. The fact that they are spotted together regularly and Iulia is a familiar face at Salman’s is reason enough to believe such claims. The Bigg Boss host however has always maintained stoic silence when it comes to his love life.

Interestingly enough, the news of Salman’s engagement has come only months after the news of Katrina Kaif’s—his former long-term girlfriend—engagement with beau Ranbir Kapoor surfaced. The young couple were rumoured to have sealed the deal when Ranbir proposed during one of their romantic getaways. Since we don’t have a confirmation from Salman or his family as yet, we wonder if this is just a case of sour grapes! Only time will tell.
