Jacqueline Fernandez is known for her love for animals. But off late, the actor is disturbed by the way people treat animals in India and is definitely not one to keep quiet about it. Recently we found out that she plans to spread awareness regarding the issue by targeting colleges across the country first.
A source close to the actor said, “Jacqueline is an all time animal lover, and is very fond of her pets. At her parents’ home in Bahrain, she had five dogs. In Mumbai, she has a Persian cat which was gifted by a friend. In fact, she is keen to set up an organisation, where animals can be taken care of, and which can also be used to create awareness about their abuse.”
When we contacted her team to confirm the news, Jacqueline’s spokesperson revealed, “She would love to have her own organisation that would work towards animal protection someday. But until that happens, at the moment, she is connecting with colleges and the Indian youth to raise awareness about the issue.”
Jacqueline has always raised her voice against animal cruelty, whether it was about the Yulin Festival or otherwise. Hence it’s no surprise that the Sri Lankan beauty has taken it upon herself to educate the youth and make sure she inculcates the value of kindness in them. At the moment we can only hope the gorgeous lady is successful in making the change she wishes to see.
