Kareena won’t kiss!

 

Recently reports of some major alteration in the script of R Balki’s Ki and Ka surfaced. The film has Kareena Kapoor Khan playing the role of a working wife whereas Arjun Kapoor is the house-husband.

According to reports, the script had some intimate moments between Arjun and Kareena, which the latter wasn’t comfortable shooting. Though we aren’t aware of exactly what was edited off, when Kareena conveyed her awkwardness to the director of the film, he agreed and made changes. Apparently the real reason why Kareena backed out is because the actor follows a no-kissing policy ever since she tied the knot with Saif Ali Khan. The royal couple have since then stuck to this commitment.

Well, its not just Kareena who seems to have opted for the no-kissing policy, plenty of Bollywood bigwigs have refused to do intimate scenes on screen. For starters, Salman Khan resolutely refuses to lock lips with any actress onscreen, and apparently doesn’t think highly of those who do either. Following his footsteps is his protégé, Sonakshi Sinha, who also has a strict no onscreen kissing policy much like her mentor. Quite recently Fawad Khan had to film some intimate scenes with co-star Alia Bhatt in his upcoming film Kapoor and Sons. According to buzz, he asked the makers to tone down the scenes as he was overcome with fear. Fawad later said he is concerned about the sensibilities of the people of his country.
