Navya's Cinderella moment

Navya Naveli Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan‘s granddaughter, and daughter of Shweta Nanda, will soon be attending the Debutantes Le Ball, a high-society Parisian Ball that takes place in Paris. She has been chosen along with 25 girls and she’s extremely excited and nervous while prepping up for the big day. She said, “I’m going to be taking dance lessons so that my dancing is up to the mark and also I will be going through fittings to make sure my dresses are fine. I will also practice walking in heels because that’s not a usual thing for me. I’ll also walk around in heels in my bedroom to make sure that I don’t fall.”

The girls who participate in this event age between 16 to 22 years and all hail from prestigious and affluent families from across the globe. On the special eve, each of them dress up in gorgeous outfits and waltz with their respective dads. This year, seventeen year old Navya will be adorning a Christian Dior gown, and we caught a glimpse of her fittings while she was at the Dior headquarters in Paris. As part of a mandatory dress and makeup session in her preparatory visit, French makeup artist from MAC, Anthony Francoise did a trial with her and also gave her tips on what shades to stick to.
