Rohit Shetty recently gifted Shah Rukh Khan with a new ride—a shiny Harley Davidson, while shooting for Dilwale. The actor quickly tweeted about the same, adding, “Rohit gets me a new set of wheels 2 ride 2 work everyday. Hawk. Beemer. Harley. We don’t walk the talk o Dilwale sets.” Here are some more ridiculously expensive gifts exchanged between Bollywood BFFs.

Over the years, Shah Rukh Khan has gifted expensive tokens of appreciation to many of his friends and well-wishers. He had gifted Abhishek Bachchan a Harley Davidson motorbike, he had made headlines when he gifted his director friend Farah Khan a Mercedes Benz E Class for their film Om Shanti Om and a Hyundai SUV after the release of Main Hoon Na and after the release of his superhero film Ra.One SRK spent about Rs 1 crore in gifting BMW 7 series sedans to Arjun Rampal, Anubhav Sinha and Rajinikanth, as a token of appreciation.

In a large public event, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra gifted a Rolls Royce Phantom to Amitabh Bachchan for his performance in the film Eklavya. According to reports Big B had charged just a rupee for Eklavya and hence, Chopra gave him this extremely expensive gift. However, soon after receiving the gift, news of Big B returning the same to the showroom the next day appeared.

Most of the time big actors do not charge for their cameos and guest appearances, and it’s taken on a friendly note. However, producer-director Karan Johar knows the art of returning favours. That is why when Katrina Kaif agreed on the hit item song Chikni Chameli for Agneepath for free, Karan was so touched by her gesture that he gifted her an extravagant Ferrari.

Salman Khan, who is known for his extravagant gifts and friendly gestures, recently gifted Jacqueline Fernandez one of his paintings as a token of appreciation for her performance in Kick. His paintings are apparently worth 2.5 crores or more, and the Sri Lankan actor can’t stop gushing about it. In the past too he had gifted his paintings to Kabir Khan, his Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan director.
