Marvel Movies 2021 We Must-Stream This Year

Marvel never fails to make its mark with each new creation. These are some of this year's must-watch Marvel movies. 

Spiderman No Way Home: Sequel to 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming and 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home, MCU’s 27th film, Spiderman No Way Home, is something we are all looking forward to. With a powerful cast, the plot revolves around Peter Parker, aka Spiderman, as he asks Dr. Stephen Strange for help to make his identity as Spider-Man a secret following its public revelation in Far From Home. According to the trailer, things don’t go as planned. This incident not only opens the door for the arrival of the Marvel Cinematic Multiverse (MCM), but it also stimulates Parker to comes to terms with its means to be Spiderman. 

Eternals: Scheduled to be released in November, MCU’s Eternals stems from the aftermath of the events of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. It revolves around the Eternals, a race of immortal beings who possess superpowers and have secretly inhabited the Earth for thousands of years. They reunite to battle humanity's most ancient enemy, the Deviants, in this saga. With Angelina Jolie, Kit Harrington, Gemma Chan, and several other A-list actors, this film seems like one that will leave an indelible mark on the audience. 

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: The Marvel Cinematic Universe has made a diverse addition to its list of superheroes with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. In the film, Shangh-Chi, a martial arts master, is made to face the past he left behind when his father Wenwu, leader of the Ten Rings organization, brings Shang-Chi and his sister Xialing together to search for a mythical village. Tried and tested, this movie, with its gobsmacking comedy and well-directed action sequences, is a fantastic addition to the MCU that will keep you hooked for more. 

Black Widow: We finally see our favourite Marvel female getting her movie. Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller, Black Widow, revolves around Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, a former KGB spy. On finding that her ex-handler, General Dreykov, is still alive, she confronts her dark past. Forced into dreadful conspiracies and surrounded by dangerous enemies, Romanoff must deal with life before becoming an Avenger. Connecting us to Romanoff’s past, this movie is a must-watch.
