With a presence in over 150 countries and innumerable cosmetic innovations under its wings, L’Oréal has mastered the art of being truly universal. One of the things L’Oréal prides itself on the most is the respect it has for the customers’ need no matter what part of the world they hail from, and their ability in finding them customized solutions. L’Oréal is the only beauty company to have bagged the honor of being one of the “50 most innovative companies in the world.”
L’Oréal Professionnel Paris, L’Oréal’s salon brand has built itself a reputation of having always kept its pace and rhythm in tune with the artistic community. Each season, the world’s top hairdressers work closely with the brand to create inspirational hairstyles that will grace the catwalks, setting the hair trends of tomorrow.
Last year, L’Oréal Professionnel Paris launched the French Balayage service, a professional 2-step technique that gives clients made-to-measure, enviable sun-kissed hair color that suits all hair bases, even the darkest ones, making it perfectly adaptable for Indian skin tones and hair. A French Balayage is typically French and effortlessly chic. The key element of a French Balayage is its subtlety. The result looks entirely natural and continues to as it grows out. This is where it differs from traditional foil highlights, which can have more of a stripy finish and a visible root line.
The French Balayage is customized to every woman, and thus, no two looks are the same. It can be soft and luminous or glam and sophisticated or extreme and bold; but it is always perfectly blended and natural looking. In short, it is the ultimate homage to a woman.
Celebrating Artistic Excellence
The Indian Hairdressing Awards (IHA) by L’Oréal Professionnel Paris are the most anticipated awards in the Indian hairdressing industry. IHA has infused freshness into its format by introducing a theme this year to the contest for the very first time – that of French Balayage!
The biggest hair color movement in the world, French Balayage, earns its rightful place in the competition as this year’s participating hairdressers from across India have to create the perfect French Balayage look on a model presented to them at the competition itself! Now that is a challenge.
This year, IHA is slated to be bigger and better than ever before. As in the previous years, this year too IHA has been divided into two main categories of awards:
• The Creative Awards having three sub-categories:
- The Style & Color Trophy
- The Young Colorist Award
- The People’s Choice Award, decided on the basis of customer voting.
• The Business Awards having the following three sub-categories:
- Best Digital Marketing Award,
- The Best SoComm Salon Award
- The Young Entrepreneur Award
