Mom in bikini inspires women

A 32-year-old mother of three posted a picture of her in a bikini on Facebook and Instagram. Little did she know that the picture will go viral, empowering, inspiring women to love their bodies, no matter what!

In her post, Rachel Hollis explained why she loves the picture. It is this acknowledgement of all the ‘imperfections’ and her confidence and love for her body despite them all, that resonates with most women out there.

I have stretch marks and I wear a bikini. I have a belly that's permanently flabby from carrying three giant babies and I wear a bikini. My belly button is saggy... (which is something I didn't even know was possible before!!) and I wear a bikini. I wear a bikini because I'm proud of this body and every mark on it. Those marks prove that I was blessed enough to carry my babies and that flabby tummy means I worked hard to lose what weight I could. I wear a bikini because the only man who's opinion matters knows what I went through to look this way. That same man says he's never seen anything sexier than my body, marks and all. They aren't scars ladies, they're stripes and you've earned them. Flaunt that body with pride! #RealAndChic #HollisHoliday

She talks about a “belly that’s permanently flabby” a belly button that is “saggy” urges women to “Flaunt that body with pride!”. As a motivation, women commented on her post and also posted pictures of their own stomachs, embracing every flaw! In fact, the response she got was so overwhelming that she decided to make a video 'Momfession' that features women who posted their photos in bikinis and their words of support as their reaction to Rachel's post.  Below is the video...
