Sign InPune saw cine celebrities, corporate honchos, Educationists and artistes all under one roof at the 1st edition of the DSK Group presents Healthntrends Powerlist Maharashtra 2015 to support and honour 10 women achievers along with three emerging entrepreneurs.
Synonymous with woman power, Healthntrends has always been celebrating women from all walks of life. ‘Powerlist Maharashtra’ is yet another way of celebrating women who have proved their presence and carved a niche for themselves with utmost dedication in their respective fields. The award is an initiative to bring together women from all walks of life, to share their stories of inspiration and pave the way for women’s empowerment.
The Chief Guest for the evening was the city’s top cop Satish Mathur and the Guest of honours were Arvind Shinde, hotelier, Corporator and Opposition Leader and Spl IGP CID Brijesh Singh. The evening saw a dazzling mix of women achievers from various fields, including personalities like lawyer Mrunalini Deshmukh, sportsperson Padmashri Shital Mahajan, actor Sai Tamhankar, fashionista Delna Poonawalla, entertainer Manasi Scott, Aurangabad educationist Shashikala Munde, Nagpur fashion designer Shruti Sancheti, philanthropist Laleh Busheri, businesswomen Dharini Turakhia and Sharmila Vali. Along with the Powerlisters, Healthntrends also lauded the achievements of rising stars such as Komal Kakade, Rekha Dubey and Sheetal Biyani by bestowing the title of Emerging Entrepreneurs upon them.
It was a veritable ‘who’s who’ of Pune—Usha Kakade Vice-Chairperson, NIPCCD (Nation Institute of Public Cooperation & Child Development) New Delhi; Bhagyashree Kulkarni from DSK Group, Anand Behede, Salim Asgarally; Zavaray and Behroze Poonawalla, Shailesh Bhandari, Shailesh Ranka, Badal Saboo, Jaswinder Narang, Rohit Navale, Ullas Bodhankar, Harshita Chatterjee, Diviya Aggarwal, Priyanka Rajiv, Sudha Menon, Avi Malik, Anita Deshpande, Pooja Shah, Hormuz and Diana Pundole, Rusi and Nicole Rutnagar, Mubaraka and Hussein Kuvawala, Dr Chaitanyanand Koppiker, Qaneez Sukhrani, Dr Sharlene Benjers alongwith her cosmetologist sister Betty Benjers, Govind Thakkar—who made their presence felt at the Healthntrends Powerlist Maharashtra 2015. Holding the evening together was designer and TV personality Mandira Bedi who played host for the evening. A spectacular dance performance was showcased by Sandip Soparrkar and his dance troupe. Singer Aman Trikha added that Bollywood twist to the evening.
